On November 11th we will have guest speakers: Lora Heisler and Emma Lundberg.

Lora Heisler:
Prof. Lora Heisler is a group leader at The Rowett Institute, Aberdeen. Her research is focused on investigating the brain circuits regulating energy homeostasis and using cutting edge technology to locate targets amenable to drugs or hormones, with the ultimate goal of identifying new treatments for obesity and type 2 diabetes.

Emma Lundberg:
Emma Lundberg is Professor in cell biology proteomics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Director of the Cell Atlas, part of the Human Protein Atlas program. Combining the power of bioimaging, artificial intelligence and proteomics, she and her group have created the Cell Atlas with the goal of determining the spatiotemporal organization of human proteome and to understand, how the spatial and time distribution deviations of protein expression patterns can influence cellular functions and be the underlying cause of human diseases.
